Guys, my little girl is ONE! I can hardly believe it! It's crazy to think how much has happened and how much she has grown and changed in just one year! Seriously I'm losing my mind a little bit.

Since we don't really know anyone in this new city we decided to wait until we go back to Houston for a visit to throw Ella a proper birthday party. However, I couldn't resist doing a little cake smash! Ella was all business when it came to that cake! She went to town on it without a single smile which is so descriptive of her personality! She loves to make other people laugh but it takes a lot to get one out of her - just like her daddy! (She is basically his mini-me in every way)

This past year has changed me in so many ways. I never knew that I could love someone so much! I've never been a big kid person and there was actually a time when I didn't really see myself ever having them. Then this little girl came along and blew all of my expectations out of the water in the best possible way. I have loved being her mama more than anything. It could just be that she is the best baby ever and I just got incredibly lucky but i'm digging this mom thing. Every exhausting minute of it!
