It is finally fall. Up until now I've never really experienced a serious weather change and let me tell you, Colorado fall blows Texas fall out of the water! I now know what all of the fuss is about. The leaves changing color, the cool breeze, the ability to wear boots and scarves and order hot coffee! It's bliss and after the summer we've had I can not wait to move into this next season of our lives - literally and figuratively.

This summer:

  • We decided to uproot our entire lives and move to Denver.

  • We sold our house in Bryan, TX (This was actually a rental property but we felt that it would have been too much on our plate to try and manage from another state.) p.s. If you're looking for an AMAZING realtor in the College Station area, we highly recommend Kristi Fox Satsky. She helped us buy and sell this house and each process she was a total rockstar! Thanks girl!

  • We found and rented an adorable little duplex in the heart of Denver. A home tour is still in the works so keep on the lookout! However if your interested in seeing it you can check it out in this post!

  • I watched all ten seasons of Friends... again. Don't judge me, I'm pretty much constantly watching Friends on a loop.

  • We went hiking in Boulder, CO with some awesome friends and had an awesome time. We had picnics by the lake in Frisco, CO and it was just lovely. (Check out this post for pictures of that trip!) I just love all of the outdoor activities there are here. I wish we would have taken more advantage of it but i'm confident that we will definitely do so more in the future!

  • We ate out. A lot. Like a crazy amount. I'm not even sorry.

  • I turned 25 and my hubby threw me an amazing surprise party at my favorite Houston restaurant, Tout Suite.

  • My best friend had a beautiful baby boy and I threw her a pretty rocking baby shower if I do say so myself! You can check that out in this post!

  • I didn't read a single book. Except for "Little Cow" over and over and over again because it's Ella's favorite.

We had a busy crazy awesome summer and I wouldn't change a single moment of it. I am however so pumped for fall and because Thanksgiving is my absolute favorite holiday (It' a day dedicated to eating as much as you possibly can. What's not to love?) and both Ella and Joey's birthdays are in October so that's going to be an awesome month!
