Hey ya'll! I hope you guys have had an awesome week! I'm sure you are all completely ready for Christmas and have no more shopping to do because you did it all ahead of time and are just chillin at this point... Yeah, me neither! I plan on spending tomorrow braving the crowds to finish up all my shopping! (if you need a little help make sure you check out my Last Minute Gift Guide).
I'm taking a break from gift guides to tell you guys about a fun event I hosted a couple of weeks back while visiting my family in Houston! One of my favorite places to shop while I'm there is the Style Encore in the Woodlands - a consignment shop focusing on high end designer brands. This fashion blogger life can get super expensive if you try and buy everything new but this place makes it a whole lot easier! Every time i go in I always find some great designer pieces for a fraction of their retail price like this awesome Free People dress for $20!
We decided to partner up and do a sip n' shop! There was wine, cheese plates, and fabulous deals! It was such a fun party and I loved getting to meet people and helping a few pick out some great pieces! I even snagged a few things for myself including this adorable Free People pullover and a JCrew statement necklace that still had the tags on it! For all my tips and tricks for scoring awesome deals at thrift and consignment shops make sure to check out This Post!
I've linked up a few of my favorite items that I've snagged there for amazing prices so you can see the awesome quality that they have on a daily basis in the store!

A HUGE thank you to Huti's 5 Free Fire Grill for providing all of the the wine for this event! I'm a huge fan of locally owned eateries but there isn't a ton in the Woodland's area. I discovered Huti's 5 while meeting some friends for a drink and they had one of the best chardonnays I've ever had! I was super stoked when they offered to provide all of the wine! We enjoyed it so much that the hubs and I stopped by for dinner afterwards and guys, it was a-freakin-mazing. Their southwestern inspired menu is delicious and high quality and their fast casual local vibe is super cool! If you're in the woodlands and looking for awesome food, great local beers, craft sodas and an Ahhmazing wine selection I highly recommend you check them out!
