How to Rock Loungewear

Guys. This has been one of the busiest holiday seasons ever! I have so many blog post lined up it's crazy and my house is a mess. I got so overwhelmed by everything going on I decided to take a break from the blogging world because honestly I was a little bit burnt out. Growing this thing takes so much work and I had no idea going in how time consuming it would actually be. It was starting to take over every aspect of my life and while I loved it, I love my family more and I wanted to take some time and just be present in the moments! So thank you for your patience and those of you who have been checking in on me and waiting for new posts I am back!

There is so much going on but the biggest thing at the moment is we are officially house hunting! Our lease is up in a few months and we are so excited to stop renting and get into a home! I have big plans to "fixer upper" a little house so I'm stoked to bring ya'll along and share the journey! Send me all of your tips and tricks and things to avoid because I will need all the help I can get!

Now enough about that. Let's talk about one of my favorite trends that is taking the fashion world by storm. Loungewear outside the house! I know what you're thinking, TRASHY much? But when it's done right it brings a laid back, effortless vibe to your outfit!

The key is to pair them with cool pieces and then accessorize to make it look intentional and not like you just rolled out of bed. With this $4 thrifted top, the hat and these boots (my faves at the moment and on sale for under $60) give the shirt a relaxed yet put together feel.

I also love pairing this top with some silk joggers and pumps to dress it up a bit or tuck it into some high waisted jeans and wear it with sandals for an even more casual vibe! Just don't forget to accessorize!
