The Perfect Girl's Day in Denver

Good Morning Loves! A lot of exciting things have been happening lately! For starters we FINALLY closed on our new house and have been crazy busy moving and painting and planning a major kitchen makeover that I cannot wait to show you all!

A few weeks ago my mom came into town and we were both hankering for a good old fashioned girls day. We left the little ones with their dads and took off to spend some one on one time together! My mom is the best and sometimes I need her all to myself! Here is how we spend spend our girl's day if you're looking for some inspiration for how to spend yours!

If you're starting the day early I highly recommend Ivy at the Glenn. Their weekend brunch is out of this world. We've been several times and I am never disappointed. They also have bottomless mimosas which is a brunch necessity in my book. Also they have the best bacon I've ever tried - another brunch must.

We love to get our thrift on so we always like to hit up Second Love and Common Threads. I always find awesome designer pieces for great prices.

If coffee is your jam Blackeye Cap Hill is where it's at - They also have a full bar if you're looking for something a little stronger.

There is just something about a fresh pedicure that puts a pep in your step. I had been following Glamour Bar's Instagram for a while and had been wanting to try them out and you guys, we had the BEST time! They are not your average nail salon!

Glamour Bar is a beautiful all-in-one salon that brings luxury to us regular folk! I was shocked at how reasonable their prices were (they weren't the least expensive I've seen but for the quality of services I was impressed) and they even have membership packages for all you repeat offenders! they offer all kinds of services including hair cuts & color, blowouts, microblading, mani/pedis, lash extensions and the list goes on! They also carry various local artisan's jewelry that was just to die for! (Check out their full list of services HERE)

My mom and I were treated like royalty with comfy chairs for our pedis, champagne and cupcakes, gorgeous blowouts and we got to try out the Giella Custom Lip Bar! - This was my favorite thing ever! I LOVE the lipgloss that I made! The ingredients are high quality and paraben/allergy free and the texture and pigment are awesome!

The great thing was with everything we had done we were still only there for a few hours! It's the perfect amount of time to get glammed up before a night out or an event! How fun would this be to do before a bachelorette party!? This would also make for an amazing baby shower idea! I can think of no better way to make mom-to-be feel special than by pampering her and making her feel beautiful! - It reminds me a bit of those little girl parties I always wanted to do where they put tons of glitter in your hair and paint your nails and then you ride around town in a pink limo. Except we're adults so we can have champagne!
