Spring Trend: Fringe

We got a little peek into spring with some awesome weather the last couple of weeks and then we got hit with one of the weird April snow storms I've been hearing about. It's been coming down pretty hard so we've been staying in and trying to keep warm but I guess we deserve it because we had the worlds mildest winter.
Fringe detail is hitting it big this spring and I'm loving it. I love the unexpected element that it adds to an otherwise basic look. This open front coat is c/o Shein. I was a little nervous about it because it's out of my comfort zone. I normally wear super casual basics but I'm actually loving it. It's so fun and whimsical and there are so many different ways to style it. In this post I kept the rest of my outfit simple with this black slip dress (25% off right now) and these nude sandals (totally obsessed) and let the coat be the statement piece. This particular coat is sold out but there are a whole bunch of similar ones HERE.
I've heard a lot of different things about Shein. It's a china based clothing site where the clothes are crazy inexpensive and so I was worried what the whole process would be like but based on my experience, they are in fact legit. The customer service was super friendly and the clothes vary in quality. Some pieces aren't perfect but they do have a 30 day return policy if you aren't happy with something. The shipping can take a while so make sure you plan ahead if you're wanting something for a specific event. I would also recommend ordering based on your measurements because the sizes can vary from item to item. All that being said I LOVE my coat. It's well made and super on trend and at $23 you can't beat the price. I've already worn it a few different ways and have gotten tons of compliments on it. I'll definitely continue to buy from them for those trendier items that I know won't be in style forever. It's basically a fashion blogger's dream because they have so many dupes of popular designer items at a fraction of the price.
Thanks so much for reading! I hope you have an awesome rest of the week and I'll see you again soon!
