Top 5 Summer Skorts

One of my favorite trends that I'm seeing pop up all over is the skort. They were really big in middle school (and VERY ugly) but now they're back and they have had a super chic makeover. I cannot believe it took me this long to discover them because they are a toddler mom's dream! I'm all about things that make squatting and bending and running easier because Ella has me doing all of those - all at once - all the time. I also love how they chic up a cool band tee and some sneakers to make you look effortlessly put-together. I also love that I can have a shorter hemline to show off my legs a bit without showing off anything else unintentionally if you know what I mean! I've rounded up my 5 favorites so you can rock the skort all summer long!

EMBROIDERED (pictured) - I picked this up at the Zara in London and I have to say i'm completely obsessed with it. It's flattering and comfortable (I wore it on our 2 hour train ride) and it's super cool.

PRINTED - This palm print is trending hard right now and I love how easy this is to take from a day at the pool to a night out.

LEATHER - I think everyone needs a cool leather skirt in their wardrobe and i the fact that it's a skort makes it 10 times better! This is a super easy piece to throw on with a tee to run errands or meet the hubs for lunch!

DENIM - A denim mini is great skirt to have and again even better if it's a skort. I love this cool white one because it's super summery and has a great stretch to it.

STRIPES - Love a good striped statement piece! This skirt would pair great with a white tee or a cool chambray tank for an easy summer look!
