Styled Like a Mother

Ever since I had Ella I've refused to let being a mom define how I dress. I have always had super laid back style and I like to add edgy elements to up the style factor a little bit (see one of my favorite looks here). I love taking current trends and making them wearable and practical for my every day life so when I was approached about joining the Evereve "Dress Like a Mom" campaign I was hesitant. In my head the way I dress is the farthest thing from "mom style" so I didn't know if I would be a great fit.

Walking into an Evereve store put all of my doubts to rest. This place is amazing ya'll! Not only is it super kid friendly - as in they have toys and snacks and willing employees that will play with your child while you try things on, they also have super wide aisles that your stroller can roll right though. And can we talk for a second about the massive dressing rooms with plenty of hanger space!? HEAVEN ya'll. This place is what shopping moms dreams are made of and I haven't even told you about the clothes.

They have stylists that are not only friendly and helpful, they actually get a feel for your style and then put together outfits for you. You. Guys. I was completely obsessed with every single thing I tried on. I wanted to leave with all of it! I ended up snagging these legit gunmetal birks, this cool Kanken bag, some fun camo skinnies, and some over the knee boots that were on crazy clearance and will be on repeat all fall. (similar pair).

The best part about this store is their selection. They carry all of my favorite brands including AG, Free People, and Hudson and they have all of the current trends catered specifically for a busy moms life. I can't say enough good things about my experience. They are breaking the mold of the stereotypical "mom style" because moms are just women that like our pants slightly high waisted. ;)

Even though this is a post about a shop that I like, I want to remind you to take care of you. Whether you're a mom or not taking the time to treat yourself whether it be with some chocolate, a new pair of boots, or a day to binge watch Netflix you NEED to take care of yourself. You can't raise little people well or love your husband well or do your job well if you're running on empty. This is a reminder for myself as well. Treat yo' self.
